Episode #116
Introduction
In episode 116 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about sustainability. Two weeks ago the German Speaking SAP user Group had its annual conference in Leipzig, Germany. Christian Braukmüller and Marcel Scherer had hosted a session about “Auf der Suche nach Nachhaltigkeit - Vorsicht bei Greenwashing” (e.g. “On the search for sustainability - lookout for greenwashing”). In their presentation they talked alot about sustainability, Carbon footprint, and raised the question how companies are dealing with sustainability topics in general. Paul Edlund provides a fascinating look into the efficiency of Azure datacenters, circular datacenters and different research projects to improve the overall efficiency of running your workload on Azure.
