Episode #160
Introduction
In episode 160 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about about Manufacturing Ontologies. An ontology defines the language used to describe a system. In the manufacturing domain, these systems can represent a factory or plant but also enterprise applications or supply chains.
The Digital Twin Consortium has created an open-source Manufacturing Ontologies reference architecture, where until recently one of the most requested features was the integration of on-premises SAP systems. I say “until recently”, because our guest today, Erich Barnstedt just recently published exactly that.
