Episode #261
Introduction
In episode 261 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we have another News update.
A few weeks back we had a News-only episode where we just looked at what had happened in the SAP and Microsoft space in recent weeks without focusing on any specfic topic. We actually got quite some positive feedback, so we decided to do this more often. It will be a shorter episode, but I think this is good with everyone. Of course, we will also continue to do our deep dives on specific topics.
However, before we get start today there is also one other thing that was brought up now several times. When you watch this show on YouTube, you are interrupted quite often with ads. Several of you wrote comments under some videos, and also some colleagues reached out to me. I want to be clear: we are not making any money with these videos. We have NOT activitated anything to earn money with this. So unfortunately there is very little that we can do. I hope you can still enjoy this and all of our other vidoes and you might just have to wait and skip some ads.

The agent can interact with users, offer mitigation options, and track incidents both reactively and proactively.
- Application and Infrastructure Awareness: Goran noted that the SRE Agent is aware of both infrastructure and certain application platforms, such as Postgres, API Management, Azure Functions, AKS, and Azure Web Services, though SAP-specific support is not yet available.
- Interaction and Automation Features: Holger inquired about the agent’s interactivity, and Goran confirmed that users can interact with the agent, which can proactively monitor, resolve issues, and suggest or execute mitigations, including rollback of changes and best practices analysis.
